Ultimate way of traffic increase

Posted on February 14, 2008. Filed under: Traffic |

On my rammstein fan web site, (http://www.rammstein-online.com) I’ve done a lot on increasing traffic. The key moment was when I discovered totally new, great method of attracting your traffic. To be honest, I was told to do that by a good friend of mine – owner of the http://www.avaempire.com – the Angels & Airwaves fan site!

Think logically. How would you like that your site is seen on sites with Page Rank 8 and with Alexa rank higher than 10 (ten) ? For free? You think it’s impossible? You’re wrong!

Two words: MySpace and YouTube.

Imagine how big these sites’ traffic is. Million visits per day. Take an example of having flowers web site. Go to www.youtube.com , type Flowers in search box and see videos. As comments, post the link. BUT, not just the link! Never say “visit myflowerssite.com” because many of people will probably mark it as SPAM. Also, you are not allowed to post links on YouTube, so you’ll have to use trick (eg _site.com_ ; site [dot] com etc.). The final outcome should look like this: “Hey, I like these roses a lot! Never seen THAT RED color! Anyway, I will be glad if you people visit my new web site, devoted to flowers: _myflowerssite.com_ thanks!”

And visits will come …

MySpace: The whole thing about MySpace is making your-website-like myspace page and add as many (site-content-relevant) friends as possible. Search for people with big number of friends to add, and after adding them, post comments on their pages. Post bulletins. On your site’s page, place MySpace banner saying “add us on myspace!” and similar. Be creative!
